FAQ

Answers before we start.

Taimera answers the questions people ask before starting a project: cost, timing, Arabic delivery, process, handover and who does the work.

Cost

How much does a website cost in Dubai?

Taimera prices every project as a fixed figure, agreed in writing before any work starts, rather than by the hour. There is no standard price, because what a website costs follows what it actually needs — how many screens, whether it sells online, and whether it ships in both English and Arabic. We scope it with you on a call, then put the price in writing before any work begins. Quotes are issued in AED, with the Egyptian figure alongside for clients in Egypt.

Do you charge by the hour or agree a fixed project price?

Taimera agrees a fixed project price in writing before work begins. The price follows the scope you approve rather than a running hourly total. If you later request an addition or change, Taimera describes and prices it separately, and starts it only after both sides agree in writing.

What currency will my project quote use?

Taimera issues project quotes in UAE dirhams. For a client in Egypt, the written quote also shows the Egyptian pound amount alongside. The quote records the agreed scope, fixed price and payment details before work begins, so the commercial terms are not left to an informal message.

Time

How long does a project take from the first call to handover?

Taimera fixes the timeline in writing at the planning step, before anything is designed or built, so the date is part of what you agree rather than something you chase afterwards. Every project runs through the same four steps — plan, design, build, then test and handover — and you see each pass as it is finished. The schedule comes with the written quote.

When will I know the timeline for my project?

You receive the project timeline with the written quote, after the planning step has made the scope clear. Taimera does not publish a standard duration because different products need different work. The agreed schedule is set before design or build begins and moves only when both sides agree to a scope change in writing.

Arabic

Do you build websites and apps in Arabic?

Yes. Taimera builds in Arabic and English as equals, right-to-left included, and the Arabic is authored by a person rather than machine-translated. The Arabic layout is designed rather than mirrored from the English at the last minute. This site is the evidence: it exists in both languages, and every screen we hand over is checked in both before it reaches you.

Is the Arabic version added after the English version is finished?

No. Taimera treats Arabic and English as equal product languages from the start. Arabic copy is authored by a person, the right-to-left layout is designed as part of the interface, and both language versions are checked before handover. Arabic is not a machine-translated layer added to an English product at the end.

Process

Do you run marketing campaigns, or only write the plan?

Taimera writes the marketing plan and hands it to you to run yourself. We research the market, set the positioning, the channels and the messages, and give you the document. We do not buy ads, manage social accounts or optimise campaigns on your behalf. The handover is deliberate: it keeps the studio on building and designing, which is what you are actually paying for.

What happens before design and build begin?

Taimera starts by planning the work with you. That step turns the request into a written scope, price and timeline before design or build begins. The project then moves through design, build, and test and handover, with each stage following the agreement rather than an open-ended list of requests.

Can the project scope change after work has started?

Yes, but a new request does not quietly become part of the original scope. Taimera describes and prices the addition or change separately, including any effect on the timeline. Work on that change begins only after both sides agree to it in writing, so the original project and the new request stay clear.

After handover

What happens after you hand the project over?

At handover Taimera gives you the code, the accounts and the passwords, so nothing about your product stays locked to this studio. From there you can run it yourself, or take an optional monthly care plan that covers hosting, fixes and small updates. Either way the product is yours from the day it is handed over.

What do I receive when the project is handed over?

At handover, Taimera gives you the delivered product together with its code, accounts and passwords. The product is yours rather than being locked to this studio. You can run it yourself from that point. Any optional ongoing support is separate and does not change your ownership of what was delivered.

Who does the work

Who will actually be doing the work?

Mahmoud Abbass does the work, start to finish. He founded Taimera, has spent more than eight years in software delivery in Dubai, and holds CSPO and ISTQB-FL. Whoever plans your project also designs it, builds it and answers you afterwards, so nothing is lost being handed between people and there is no junior team behind the pitch.

Will my project be passed to a junior team?

No. Mahmoud Abbass plans, designs and builds the work himself, and remains the person who answers you after handover. There is no junior delivery team behind the proposal and no chain of handoffs between sales and production. The person who agrees the scope is the person responsible for delivering it.
